This text refers to the Passage With Amendment in the House.
Vote to pass a bill that increases the rate of the sales tax on alcoholic beverages from 7 percent to 9 percent, beginning July 1, 2011.
-Increases the sales tax rate for alcoholic beverages from 7 percent to 9 percent, beginning July 1, 2011 (Sec. 1). -Increases appropriations for the Developmental Disabilities Administration for fiscal year 2012 from $5 million to $15 million, to fund a waiting list initiative for individuals in the crisis prevention and crisis resolution categories of assistance (Sec. 2). -This act is effective July 1, 2011 (Sec. 4).
